Data reveals that less than 1% of venture capital investments go to Black owned businesses. Furthermore, Black entrepreneurs are significantly underrepresented in equity across the food system.
CREATE YOUR TABLE aims to increase the number of Black-led food and drink businesses globally and support sustainable growth by enhancing access to financial support.
The CYT Fund will distribute grants and facilitate funding pipelines that enable equitable outcomes for our community of entrepreneurs.
By 2032, The CYT Fund aims to invest £1 million+ directly into Black-led food and drink businesses, distributing grants to selected entrepreneurs launching and scaling their ventures.
